This month, ID Studios was thrilled to take a road trip to tour the 24,000 s.f. Kimball Showroom located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. It showcases the latest in office furniture and interior design elements, such as lighting, rugs, and artwork.
The showroom organized a one-of-a-kind sensory experience for us, using different scents, sounds, textures, and tastes to help us understand the connection between our senses and the physical environment we help shape with our designs.
We then had a quick pit stop at the Broad Museum to view their collection and experience Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Room that features a mirrored room filled with thousands of LED lights arranged in a grid pattern, which create the illusion of a never-ending space.
We are so grateful to Barbara and Cathy for their meticulous planning and execution of this trip. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and we truly enjoyed the entire day.
