WD-40 Company Culture Area

Telling a Story

ID Studios partnered with the brand development firm Mentus to execute this full cultural exhibit set inside of WD-40 Company’s San Diego launching pad. The Culture Experience Feature at their San Diego headquarters represents the multi-faceted culture of their company. With focus on their people, their global presence, their history, and their brand, the graphic visuals layered into this feature tell many stories of who they are, what they do, and who they create for. The entire feature itself is set in a cylindrical shape, reminiscent of the iconic blue and yellow can with the little red top. As one enters the space, the main wall portrays the can itself literally made up of photos of every single WD-40 company in the world. The next piece of the curve celebrates the 18 WD-40 locations throughout the world with their uniquely different can products. And at the base of the “can” cylinder, the world map honors where every employee is based, surrounded by the company’s powerful values.
