Confidential Office to Life Science Building Conversion
Future of Life Science
The goal for the exterior and interior design of this one story, 50,000 s.f. building was to take the client’s new acquisition and transform it into a property that meets their standards. The building shell was a long monolithic block with very low and black-tinted windows. The new design includes shade structures at various heights, architectural aluminum cladding at four corners of the building, and a new glassy building entry. The entry landscape was also reworked to support the new architectural elements. The design intent for the interior was to bring a fresh new perspective evoking the feel of nature in SoCal with warm woods accented with blue glass and sandy pebbles in prominent locations. 1681
