Inspired by the La Jolla Windansea Surf Break and coastline only 5 minutes away, the Nautilus Tavern Bar and Grill is designed to appeal to a laid-back, fun, casual crowd of locals, surfers and tourists. It incorporates a full scale photo of the Historical 1946 Surf Shack across one full wall as a back drop to an eclectic mix of materials including weathered wood siding at the bar, raw concrete floors, ocean-blue wicker, metal seating, and nautical rope wall hangings. The casual unpretentious nature of this bar and grill is enhanced by both front and back exterior patios accessed by roll-up doors, multiple TVs for sports gatherings, and wood framed booths allowing for ample people watching and socializing.
