About Maegen Curry
Maegen Curry, an Associate Principal at ID Studios, holds a BA from the University of Washington, a BFA from the Design Institute of San Diego, and is licensed by NCIDQ – the highest level of interior design certification. Since joining ID Studios in 2014, she’s worked on the design of both hospitality and corporate design, expanding her skills into Project Management. Notably, she led the design for Tandem Diabetes’ new headquarters.
Outside of work, Maegen’s commitment is equally remarkable. As a committee member at CREW San Diego, she contributes to the advancement of women in the commercial real estate industry. She’s also actively involved with Unravel Pediatric Cancer, serving on the board of their San Diego chapter and spearheading their annual fundraiser, raising over $1,000,000 in five years. Additionally, she enjoys being the team mom for her son’s Friday Night Lights Flag Football team, while her husband coaches the neighborhood team.
Maegen Curry’s extraordinary ability to connect people and causes makes her a dynamic force in all aspects of her life.
About Rich Guerena
Rich Guerena, Principal at ID Studios, is an architect with an extensive 25+ year background and a BArch from USC. Holding a California architect’s license and the LEED AP associate certification, Rich adeptly combines technical leadership, mentorship, and Project Manager responsibilities.
A firm believer in giving back, Rich invested four years mentoring high school students through the ACE Mentor program, witnessing their progression to college and subsequent contributions to the Architecture, Contracting, and Engineering sectors.
Rich’s passion for traditional martial arts finds him not just mentoring his children to Blue Sash level in Kung Fu but also competing in tournaments to maintain his own peak performance. With a black belt in Tai Chi and on track for the same achievement in Kung Fu, his discipline and commitment are evident.
Presently, Rich is leading a project to revamp Meals on Wheels San Diego’s corporate office and meal prep kitchen which is driven by the aim to enhance awareness and volunteer engagement. Rich is proud to utilize the years of experience he has in the architecture and design industry and his position as Principal of ID Studios to support their cause.
